Everything you need to know about CartClimb.
No. CartClimb is a visual progress bar that motivates customers to add more to their cart. You create discount codes in the Shopify Admin separately, and customers apply them at checkout. The progress bar shows them how close they are to earning the discount.
You can configure one global campaign per store with up to two reward tiers (for example, $50 for free shipping and $100 for 10% off).
Yes. CartClimb is a Shopify 2.0 theme app extension that works with all modern Shopify themes. You add it as a block in your theme customizer — no theme code editing required.
No coding required. Install the app, add the block to your theme via drag-and-drop, and configure settings using simple dropdowns and sliders.
Yes — fully responsive on all devices. You can choose to show or hide the progress bar on mobile if you want.
Yes. The progress bar fill, text, and background are fully customizable to match your brand.
The progress bar shows a celebratory success message (e.g. "You've unlocked Free Shipping!"). For discounts, you'll need to communicate the discount code to customers separately.
CartClimb automatically detects and uses your store's currency, and works with all Shopify currencies. For international stores, you can also configure per-country thresholds and currencies in the Geo-Targeting section of the admin panel.
Three things to check, in order: (1) make sure the progress bar is enabled in the Dashboard, (2) confirm "Show on mobile" is on if you're testing on a phone, and (3) if you've added it as a theme block, verify the block is added in the theme customizer. If you're testing inside the theme customizer, switch to your live store URL — cart monitoring is disabled in the customizer.
The most common cause is testing inside the Shopify theme customizer, where cart monitoring is disabled. Always test on your live store URL (https://your-store.myshopify.com). If the issue persists on the live store, open the browser console (F12) and look for errors prefixed with [IPB].
Three usual culprits: (1) you forgot to click Save in the admin panel, (2) browser cache — try a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R), or (3) your theme's CSS is overriding CartClimb's styles. The first two fix it almost every time.
CartClimb offers a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial period and you can uninstall at any time.
Yes. The Geo-Targeting feature lets you set country-specific thresholds and currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and more). You can create per-country rules with custom messages and priority ordering. See the documentation for setup steps.
The Analytics section of the admin panel tracks impressions, cart additions while the bar is visible, threshold-reached count, and average order value before vs. after enabling CartClimb. There's also a daily breakdown chart.
